A. After a month and a half of no cheezburger, I'm guessing not.

Q. Do you prefer discussing topics with people who agree with your opinion, or people who disagree with your opinion?

Answer: I enjoy discussions. I really don't mind if they are agreeable or disagreeable. I am not much for flattery or confrontation, and those will tend to move me out of the discussion, unless I have to fight because I have been backed in a corner. In a good discussion keep it light hearted and respect opinions ... even if the other opinion is wrong.

Question: Continue, do you have a preferred discussion style?

A: I prefer to mix it up. Sometimes, when I discuss things with people who's opinion I agree with, I end up playing devil's advocate for the "wrong" side just because it usually does have some arguments that do need to be made. On the other hand, when I discuss things with people who disagree with me, I feel more free to support my side of the argument, but even still I rarely am able to move the other person so it ends up just being aggravating.

A. I got sunburned using SPF50 sunblock. So I'd say very easy. :P

Q. How did you get the worst sunburn you've ever had?

A> I was fishing on a cloudy day without my shirt on, before I knew it I was suffering sun poisoning and had a fever for the next few days. My dad got his ass kicked for allowing that to happen to me. I still have a minor scar on my shoulder that scares the crap out of me to this day.

Q> Why is this forum so underused nowadays?
Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen it's true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"...

...and I'll look down, and whisper "no."

A. After over 250 pages and more than 6000 posts questions are hard to come by.

A. I think he was speaking of the forum in general. People aren't playing the same games. When there isn't a common interest to bring people together there is a lack of posting.

People get pissed and leave.

People here (not everyone...) seem to be misanthropic. Since this forum isn't parsed by search engines and I've restricted signup to admin only (to deter bots) we rely on word of mouth to get new members. In other words, you have to invite your friends. We've had 4 new users sign up this past year.

Lack of drama. It seems like anyone who sirs up crap ends up getting chased off, there's less interesting discussions going on.

I haven't been posting like I used to. I used to start up wads of conversations but after Chloe was born I realized that since I had less time to surf the interwebs I didn't get exposed to news, ideas or weird shit that I wanted to share like I used to.

I think that's a big reason that I decided to mess with the forum now. According to my web statistics, the forum is at its lowest usage in the past five years so I figured it wouldn't be terribly disruptive to revamp now.

Though it could go the other way and chase the rest of you off because you hate the new look. :(

Q. Was upgrading the right thing to do?

A> Yes, it's awesome. And I actually meant the question and answer game. :( Had I reread what I posted I would have changed it immediately. I love these forums and if it was just 5 of us left I'd still visit and post a note here and there just because.

A. Not hard at all. I didn't feel insulted or anything. I ask myself the same question often. I also wonder what happened to Jae on a regular basis. That asshat...

Q. Anyone know how to get a hold of Jaebae? He deleted all his contact information when he abandoned me.

A. I talked to him this morning actually (I had left a message on his cell phone). He's doing well, but pretty much isn't doing any Online Gaming. I'm sure that combined with the drama that happened with he left has been ther eason for him not being motivated to swing on back.

Q. Do you think it's a PITA to have a conversation in the format of an Question and Answer game?

A: In most cases at least, the bride and her family do all the work of planning and paying for the wedding. That's why the tradition persists.

A> Fried Fish. I have gotten it down to a fucking science. Golden brown on the outside, flaky on the inside. Use McCormac cracker meal and REAL milk with REAL eggs. None of this skim bullshit.

Q> You like Fish?

A: Yes. Looking back, I think I may have bruised a rib, but I was too young to realize that at the time. Yay for being accident prone.

Q: What is the next big game? I am so out of touch after being out of WoW for so long, and Deld and I don't think we'll be back with the expansion (at least not immediately, due to Molly's timing). I miss all my groggies.

a. Bangkok. I know this because I did a report on Thailand in the 6th grade. I even dressed up as a rice farmer and had a booth with maps and other information for people to check out in the gymnasium.
