Fighting for freedom - over land, SEA and air.

As the G.I. Joe referrence hints at. There is going to be a HUGE update very soon. They just announced feeble details about it officially. But every where I go is a buzz with rumors and fantastic truths that get me very excited I decided to continue playing FFXI.

Not just new equipment will be coming with this update, though I'm glad to see that Monk will be getting some loving with the new Gi. The things I've read and heard about is making this update to be a mini-expansion.

The "events connected with the Promathia areas" is referring to a brand new expansion area. The Zilart that has people going up into the "Sky." The Chains of Promanthia will be sending people under the ocean. People everywhere are simply calling it "SEA"

Other things I've heard them adding.

-Harder more Epic dragon battles.
-A new summonable Avatar.
-Genkai 6 - Maat retires so Wolfgang, Maat's star pupil, is the questgiver NPC
-A couple more Gods to clash with. FFXI has four Gods in it currently.
-New items, quests, equipments, NPCs, Outposts, etc...

and alot more I'm sure are rumors. Rumor or not this update will be enormous. I'm excited to see such great things on the horizon.
