"How ya been?"

What's up KJ ol buddy? How ya been?

Hate to clutter up the Sticky that no one uses anymore. I've been doing pretty good. I just got my discharge paperwork approved and should be starting terminal leave (and moving back to Utah) in early December. I have to hurry and finish working on my house to get it on the market to sell. That with my full time work and school situation and my wife working evenings and weekends... well lets just say I have a pretty full plate on my hands.

I'm excited for the expansion to come out and I can't wait to get it all installed and go looking at the new areas. I can' t imagine how much of this game that you guys never even saw before you moved on.. I can't image the all sorts of giddy I will be when I get access to these new areas.

I've since lvld my fishing to 34 and I'm seriously contemplating on whether I should shoot for Lu Shang's. There is a little rumor that there might be another fishing rod released in this expansion via quest but you know how rumors go.

I've recently caught the following fish in the last few days: Bladefish, Bluetail, Gold Lobster, Ogre Eel, Zurmug (sp) Bass, some other kind of bass..., Herring... the list goes on. After a long break from fishing I'm finding it to be a nice relaxing break from leveling all over again. Gathering up my AF gear was a little flustering for a day or two and I have yet to secure the last piece, AF3 RDM Pimp Hat, but I'm proud of my accomplishments.

How have you been?

Good to hear, things are coming along nicely for you. I think I sent you an email many moons ago, but you know how I am with email. School, work and lady are taking up more of my time than ever, so there's nothing new to say here. If I'm lucky, I'll be done with school in February but I'm not going to say anything more lest I jinx myself.

I did miss a lot in FFXI. But it just wasn't something I could sink my teeth into for the long term. I'm glad to hear you're still enjoying the experience though.

As for gaming, I've been pretty busy. Had a few waning moments and nearly quit once, but the game just keeps drawing me back in and keeps getting better with each update.

Way to go! I hope everything goes well for you with your school. I'll be graduating in June if everything goes well for me. I will still be taking classes in the middle of my move so it's definitely going to be tough. I'll just have to plot my drive from Alaska to include hotels with internet access so I can get online and do my homework.

I just got a new laptop not too long ago. It's a Toshiba Satellite and it plays FFXI beautifully. (wirelessly to boot) So now I can sit in my living room and play and it's so much easier to spend time with my kids. I usually do this unless I'm in a situation where I really have to concentrate and in those cases I'll just move back to my desktop.

I got a job offer up here in Anchorage for 25 dollars an hour base, but they were looking to fill the position before I get out of the military. So, I guess I'll just have to keep looking and see what else opens up... Besides, I was planning on moving back to Utah so a job up here would be progression, but not the progression I'm looking for right now. I think I'll have to refocus my resume so companies in Utah start responding ><;

Hey KJ, wow those pictures almost make me miss my Red Mage.... That sword looks HAWT!!!!!!
Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen it's true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"...

...and I'll look down, and whisper "no."

I must agree, that sword DOES look mighty sexy :)

Glad to hear life is goin well for ya KJ ^_^ Almost time for your leave, awesome! I know that will be great to finally get out of the military hehe. When you go, have a beer on me or five ^_^ If you weren't in the frozen north I'd buy em for ya too, lol.

I've been busy with ESPN NHL 2k5 (according to Gamerankings this year we are the highest ranked hockey game since theyI've been keepin track of review scores... we beat out last years score by .4% lol) and stuff. I've got a job opportunity in SoCal with Blizzard entertainment, and I"m praying that happens... that is pretty much one of my 'dream' companies to work at.

Hope to see you on the board more, we need more familiar faces!

Hi hi KJ! No more disappearing forever man, I missed you! (course I'm one to talk about disappearing =x)

So anyway, anything you need in game just let me know and I'll do whatever I can to help you out. Oh yeah! And thank Shari profusely for me! She offered me free teleports anywhere I need whenever I want because of you. Such a sweetie.

Love ya man. ;)

Well, lets see here... A Homunculus is a very expensive jug pet. He comes from using an Alchemist Water which costs around 8k. I was only lvl 26 or so at the time so he wasn't very strong vs the price, but I really wanted to see what he looked like! I hear that when you get to be a higher level BST he can cast ancient magic and becomes quite powerful. (Kind of like the Elementals that SMN gets)

Shari is good ppl, I'm glad to hear she's hooking you up!

I'm trying to get people together to finish out my RDM AF3 for the pimp hat, but it really isn't looking promising. I have made a deal with myself that I won't lvl RDM until I get either the AF3 or a Dark Staff. I just dumped more gil into leveling my smithing to 17 and soon I'll be able to synth iron ingots with far less loss. That will make mining go much faster since I won't be carrying a bunch of ores around. With 3 stacks of ingots on the AH in Bastok for 38k each I'm hoping they sell soon. I also got my first Platinum ore in Palborough last night but I don't much enjoy that place with the spread out mining points. I think I'll be heading back to the grotto for now.

I can't get CoP today because Alaska is considered International as game shipments are concerned so hopefully I'll get it tomorrow. It will be fun to go and see the new areas.

Pax, if you know anyone that wouldn't mind hitting up AF3 please let me know. I can't stand the thought of hitting 60 without throwing mass fireworks and equiping the hat. ^^

Hehe well, I'll come help if you can give me a time (I'm on EST too, keep in mind O.o), and I'll try to drag along as much of my LS as possible too. We're a small LS but we do pretty much EVERYTHING together. If you remember when we went for the 5-2 that one time, all of the guys that I brought were in my LS. So um yeah, I could possibly bring 68 BLM, 67 PLD, 68 DRG, 68 THF if you can give me a time. I think Derricka said he'd come help you too, so there's a 72 DRK also.

I'm back in school so uh, putting it on the weekend would certainly work best for me. ;)

See ya KJ.

EDIT: P.S. I could get CoP today either and I think the rest of America couldn't either because of the hurricane recently. No one has it. ; ;
