Static PT: lineup, suggestions, question.

Postby Muffins » Fri May 14, 2004 3:20 pm

Ok, if I have all my info straight, our Static PT *should* be all set as far as people catching up in levels and whatnot. So our lineup is as follows:

Muffins: WHM
Pax: BLM
Killjoy: RDM
Kline: WAR
Ausrine: DRK

And a 6th member up in the air. From the looks of things, we could get either a tank (PLD or NIN), another damage dealer, a THF or a BRD. We have a lot of utility in out PT thanks to Kline who can switch between tank and damage dealer. There's also plenty of renkei possibilities with Great Axe, Great Sword, and Scythe. Of course, we could always leave our 6th slot open and pick up a random person, but that might throw off our mechanics. I'll let you guys pitch in ideas to find out what might work.

Also, we could use a schedule to plan around times where we could PT, and possibly having us being under one linkshell to more easily organize ourselves.

I know I'm gonna be available for pretty much the whole summer. And as far as the LS idea goes, I could go to anyone. I'm a pearl whore like that. ^^;

I'm looking forward to this, see you all in game! ^^

My Monk is currently trying to catch up. I could dedicate myself to you all as soon as I can catch up -- if you all decide on the 6th being a great Damage dealer.

Don't hate me, but it is really difficult getting in a Party as a Monk. I will try this weekend to Marathon up to finish Genkai 2 and have something you can use in your great mix of players. Who doesn't want a bit of the old Satoshiko SMASH?

Monk is 53 now. Steadily climbing to where you all are. What level is the starting point for the static group? 55 now?

Also am I in fact THE 6th member?

This is incorrect, both Kline and Ausrine have made it to lvl 55 I believe. I should be able to complete G2 today, though I hope I don't end up sleeping through it. I'm working right now and don't get off for 3 more hours. That means by the time I get home I only have 5 hours until G2 starts. I'm contemplating... to sleep or not to sleep.. that is the question.

My summer schedule:

As I made mention when we were planning this static party, I have several RL obligations (and some FFXI ones) that will not go away and must be taken into consideration.

Friday May 21- Sunday May 23 (offline- out of town friends)
Friday May 29- Saturday June 12 (Memorial Day Weekend Con + Costa Rica business trip)
Monday June 28 - Saturday July 10 (Costa Rica business trip)
Monday July 19 - Saturday July 24 (Costa Rica business trip)

Monday + Wednesday nights are LS static PTs (I use my lv 22 DRK for that) until 9pm pacific time
Thursday nights are RL dojo classes from 7:30 - 9pm pacific time

I have Tuesday nights and ALL weekend to Static Party (except for my trips)

I know that is a lot of time I will be gone, and I am sorry- but sometimes work gets in the way.

Please let me know what you think and if you all can work with that. Again, sorry for all the hassles- but I gotta make a living. :(

I don't think I'll be partying with you all right now. It's not hard to find a melee damage dealer so it won't really be a loss anyway.

sorry to hear that, Aus. I know there are lots of things getting in the way at this point (my schedule being a primary one). I hope I haven't let anyone down, sorry.
