My work schedule has been absolute crap lately. I've been so tired. I ended up doing the Eco Warrior quest today and while I waited for it to kick off I worked on leveling my warrior. Why? Because I noticed something very interesting while leveling BST the other day...
With an axe, I do incredible damage. I could join parties in the Maze and kill MM's and deal out damage like no other.. But I asked myself, "What could make me even better in a party? I do Skillchains and can cast an occasional emergency cure with my RDM sub... but there must be something more..."

So then I decided. While BST/NIN will be awesome, especially for solo, you don't get *blink* until 12, so that leaves you with the only benefit at lvl 20 when you can dual wield your axes of doom.... In the mean time, why not sub WAR and be able to provoke in a pt? I can be more versed in various combat situations and can choose a sub based on what I choose to do.

BST is an awesome job and it's fun to solo, but with the ability to get out and join a pt every now and then just to show them how awesome and versitile the job can be,.. why not? And at lvl 23 we can call up our jug buddies and really show the world how to pull and keep a chain alive.. Nothing like a pt resting up while your little beasty works on a mob for you! I really look forward to lvling this job, I got provoke today and will put a few more lvls on WAR to ensure I get the most from my sub ^^ - besides it's a great way to farm crystals for my upcoming cooking bonanza! @.@
