What happened?

Postby Lightfeather » Thu Aug 26, 2004 10:25 pm

I've been totally excited to see a full blown rpg game in here but it seems to have petered out =/ What's up guys? Are the rules too difficult or something? I personally have no idea how to play DnD but I think it would be totally fun to say "I do this" and to have a dm make the npc's say "Well then I do THIS!" and then react back to it.

Maybe the RP threads would be more fun without the dice

I'm gonna be starting it back up next weekend, it just happened that 3 of the players were away and it was getting difficult keeping continuity. I think ved, Bling, and Popn are all settled in now and I should be able to resume. I'm gonna PM each of them and get it going again.

And unfortunately you can't have D&D without the dice. I've tried it, it doesn't work. But Feather if you'd like to learn how to play I'd be glad to give you some lessons on the subject matter. Just ask me anything you like.

...and I'll look down, and whisper "no."

The status is that I'm willing to start up again, but a few of the players were being unreliable. LEt's do this, besides Rail, WHO ELSE still wants to play. I'll accept one NEW player as well and continue.

I'm ready and willing but homework and other school matters are my primary. I'll be able to at least read, if not answer everyday.

I miss reading about your exploits. I though this forum would end up getting lots of 'story' like threads in it following many adventures. The last thing I remember was our heroes were in a bar and the shit was about to hit the fan.

Yes, it's a shame that only one of the heroes showed up to the adventure. I think Rail and I are the only two D&D nerds in here and without that kind of comittment you can't do an online adventure. It's simply too time consuming otherwise. However I kind of liked Rails DM challange, I think I might set it up with him where we run it out live on the forums here. I'm gonna make tha tcharacter while I'm in Vegas I think. I'll bring my PDF's with me and do it on the plane.

Once I was pressured to hurry up and then all I did was say I was waiting and then I was one of the first to leave...

I'm not really to up on the rules, and playing online where people can't explain stuff makes my participation really difficult. So I'm out.
