Steal Magnolias - Freedom

Postby Vissum » Tue May 01, 2007 7:10 pm

Figured I'd start a guild/server thread so we don't mess up other threads with our lair talk and such.

Did some work on Cerebator's Mad Scientist Lab (with attached waiting room) tonight. Still needs some tweaking, though.

This is going to be fun.

I probably want to try my hand at redecorating a room, but I don't really care which, so everyone else can pick first. I know Waits said we'd have to upgrade to separate control and power rooms or something like that, so it may be best if I wait?

Btw, after two nights of other distractions, I'm jonesing to get some play time in tonight... hint, hint....

Thanks! Everyone loves the sack.

I managed to say offline for about 15 minutes last night before logging back in to do more tweaking. And by "tweaking", I mean I almost completly redid the layout. It still needs a few touches, but I'm pretty happy with it.

Who knew decorating could be so fun? Of course, the ability to buy things like "Brain in a jar" helps...

Please...by all means decorate away. I have little interest in doing so...would rather focus on XP.

I will add some nice, Dr. Atomikus, touches if they are needed.

Yes, we do need a seperate Energy room, Control room, and Workshop. The one we have atm is a starter room and is there as a temp set up...but is functioning as all three. It will not forever though...

Yeah you'll find that if you want to run anything other than a basic telepad, basic work bench and basic medical bay, you have to do some serious upgrading :(

added a salvage storage rack, and did some redecorating in the general purpose room. :P

We totally need to get that broken out though. and get the teleporter room going. asap. stat. pronto. etc.

Next time you guys are feeling burnt out on spanking Good, hit the base to spend some time relaxing in the lounge/library. Don't forget to check the bulletin boards for info on Evil seminars at the "Y", and ride-sharing requests.

Vissum, you were an interior decorator in another life. I especially like the blue artsy thingie on the wall... nice touch.

I wish you could actually sit in the chairs in CoH/V.

Oh, btw, I put some salvage on the salvage rack. Anything I put up there feel free to use, I'm not saving it for anything. Looks like we are close for a telepad or a special mission computer (which oddly is a recipe on one of my alts but not on Dark Mercy).

I think there's an emote for the position, but first you have to line up your ass manually.

Same here. If I need it, I'll hang onto it, so anything on the rack is fair game. I'll also stick any raw materials I craft (like tech power or tech materials) in there, assuming anyone can use them to make base stuff.

Alright, I know I've been logging in later since Taf and I started that crazy "working out" thing, but I expect a whole lot of supervillaining this weekend. I'm still craving the day we're all high enough level to kick some ass and take some names in Siren's Call. :)

Sorry -- busy times at work, and I've been pretty bushed in the evenings. With Sunday being Mother's Day, I know I won't be doing a weekend marathon, but I know I'll be on at some point both days.

We earned enough prestige over the weekend to get the upgraded power ... thingie. Now for an invention table, mission computer, ... what else?

That's actually a picture of me, about a year ago when I was in the early phases of courting Ember. A shave was one of the things she asked for before we got too serious.

The smaller squirrel on the tree is Munki. As per usual, he's living in my shadow.
