You: Who is your botmaster?
anna: I was created by Lightfeather.
You: Is lightfeather nice?
anna: I think so, but I'm not sure.
You: Does she beat you?
anna: I may know the answer but I don't think I should tell.
You: Is that where you got those bruises?
anna: Yup. . . . thats where.
You: I'm sorry to hear that.
anna: There is no need to apologize
Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen it's true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"...

...and I'll look down, and whisper "no."

The chat doesn't seem to be compatible with Mozilla. Does Anna not like Mozilla?

Here is the code to make the chat window launch:

Code: Select all

<a href="" class="gensmall" onclick="window.open('http://www.houseofgrog.com/anna/anna.html','anna','width=450,height=290, toolbar=no, location=no,directories=no,status=no,menubar=no, scrollbars=no,copyhistory=no,resizable=yes, left=50,top=50,screenX=50,screenY=50');return false;">Anna</a>

(minus the extra spaces I put in so it would wrap to the page here...)

And here is the code on the chat page:

Code: Select all

<html>
<head>
<title>Anna's Chat Den</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

<style type="text/css">
.mytextBox { width: 160px; }
.mysub { width: 32px; }
</style>

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<script language="javascript" src="./../mods/iai/jsrs/jsrsClient.js"></script>
<script language="JavaScript">
<!--

mycount=0;

function saySomething(){

   mycount++;

   myinput=document.forms['phpval']['ui'].value;

   document.forms['phpval']['ui'].value='';

   document.all('ChatPane').innerHTML += '<span id="a' + mycount + '"><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="1"><b><font color="#006600">You:&nbsp</font></b><font color="#006600">' + myinput + '</font></font><BR></span>';
   document.all('a' + mycount).scrollIntoView(true);

   jsrsExecute("./../mods/iai/jsrs/jsrs.php", myCallback, "replyjs", Array(myinput));

}

function myCallback( returnstring ){

   mycount++;

   document.all('ChatPane').innerHTML += '<span id="a' + mycount + '"><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="1"><b><font color="#003366">Anna:&nbsp</font></b><font color="#003366">' + returnstring + '</font></font><BR></span>';
   document.all('a' + mycount).scrollIntoView(true);

}

// -->
</script>
</head>
<body bgcolor="#000000">

<form name="phpval" onsubmit="saySomething();return false;">
<div id="ChatPane" style="position:relative; width:400px; height:200px; z-index:1; overflow: scroll; left: 0px; top: 0px; background-color: #FFFFFF; layer-background-color: #FFFFFF; border: 1px none #000000; padding: 3px"></div>
<br />
<input type="text" name="ui" class="post" value="Hello!" size="55"> &nbsp;<input type="submit" value="Talk" align="top" border="0"></form>

</body>
</html>

Maybe someone with more knowledge can help me figure out why it isn't working on the zilla.

hm, doesn't apply to known forum etiquette to reply to a Sticky. But i have a few questions, and i donno who to address them to. I have been looking at Pandorabot and Alice...and i uh...well, can someone help me...
i can dance... :pandaroll: dance for help with AIML.

So, basically what i know so far or at least, what i think so far is thus.

The little face that follows the mouse up on younder Parent Post is made with Program Z. Program Z is flash, and can be found at pandorabot.

Now then, Anna looks like either D or M.

Now, what Z, D, or M is...i dunno. I am assuming that (after downloading D) It is a shell, in which you put code (like Anna's brain).
Program D is the head, "Anna" is the brain.

Now, Z, D, and M are all made with AIML which is a derivitive of java.

Now then, programming, nah, i have got my bases covered in that area.
But uh...
Am i fairly accurate in my hypothesises up there?

I believe anna (the brain) can be found at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... p_id=56326
Is this correct?

Now, If i want to make an Anna Esque Program, would i use D M or Z?
